I have a new apartment. It’s mine and all my belongings are in one place. My bookshelf is to die for and I have a work space that enhances my “get shit done” lifestyle.

Moving was an adventure. I live on the fourth floor without an elevator so the past week has been a workout. Who needs crossfit or HIIT when you have boxes to get up. I built some furniture, arranged my bookshelf, and I am happy with the results. I just have to do my kitchen, but that’s a problem for later.

Here is a list of things I put on a word document that I didn’t hate:

• I wrote my first ever sex scene and it wasn’t as cringe-y as I worried it would have been. It’s a bit rough, but I really like how the emotional arc resolved from start to finish
• I updated my first chapter and shared it with my first beta
