There was a reason for the delay in posting: I finished Thieves Project last night and didn’t want to do an update until it was done. It’s exciting, freeing, and a little scary.
The last time I finished a project was NaNoWriMo 2014 when I completed the first version of Mindy WIP that I was remotely proud of. I went onto hate it because it was far too long
With Thieves Project, I feel no animosity towards the current version. Zero. There are all the scenes I want with the character development that needs to happen. While it needs several edits, I don’t hate it.
Not even a little bit.
I’m excited and proud to be sharing it with people that I trust to beta read it. It’s still way too long but that’s a problem for future me.
Here is a list of things I put on a word document that I didn’t hate:
- The entire book
- A cover letter
- A networking email
- This is my life now
