Part 1 of edits is underway and I had a video interview for a job this week. Things are kind of falling into place.
School is underway so that means having to structure my time more. I also found a writing group based in Chicago which makes me beyond excited. It was the one piece of community that has been missing. As much as I appreciate the Twitter write-ins, having in-person contact is so valuable.
Here is a list of things I put on a word document that I didn’t hate:
- My presentation on mobile gaming
- The outline to acts 1 and 2 of my National Novel Writing Month project
ICYMI: Writing is Hard Part 2: Pantsing is a Myth
Upcoming release: Stake Sauce by RoAnna Sylver (Preorder here). This new title features a vampire who refuses to suck blood and a disabled firefighter-turned-mall-cop seeking to protect Portland from the undead. Comes out on October 31st.
Song of the Week: “The Weight of the World” by Keiichi Okabe, Keigo Hoashi, Kuniyuki Takahashi, Emi Evans from NieR: AUTOMATA OST (2017).
Actively Reading: ARC of The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
Writing can be a definite pain in the butt. It’s proving to be that for me this week, but tomorrow I have to get back to a freelancing job, so gotta gear up and do it! Good luck with your tasks!

Thanks! Freelancing is a lot work and discipline, so major applause to you at that front
