April was a quieter month. Though, in the middle, I did visit New York City to get some day job work done and took most of a needed break from writing. And because of a weird funk, it took me a while to read non-audiobooks. With May’s aggressive travel, maybe time for reading physical copies will be easier to come by. Continue reading
March seemed to zip by. I went to Seattle for a bit, taking a proper vacation from both day job and from writing. It was nice and a much-needed break from the querying grind. But it left much time for some good reads, which I am pleased to share. Continue reading
Everything happened in February: work stuff, I moved my desk, moved my apartment, got sick, a polar vortex! February 2019 had everything, except for a well enough me to read the normal volume I am used to. But now that the books are put away and the furniture has been arranged, I wanted to share with you the delights and learnings from this second month.
One day, I will publish these on the last day of the month, but it is not this month. And it won’t be next month either (because New Year’s Eve). But I discovered a few new favorites and the foray into audiobooks continues.
October was quite a month. Between my friend’s wedding in Italy, Pitch Wars announcements, querying, and a newfound appreciation of audiobooks, I squeezed in reading 8 books.
September was a month of sleep and rest and recovery from frantically submitting to Pitch Wars. I read a few books and got a library card, so we’ll see how much book consumption changes based on that.
